Current studio polices regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus)

Heeding the advice of public health officials, Harvest Yoga Studio is adopting the policy of the Government of Alberta, whereby anyone returning to the country on or after March 12th should be self-isolating for 14 days. We are asking any of our practitioners who meet this criterion to avoid coming to the studio to practice their yoga, as a method to help minimize the spread of the Coronavirus in and around the Lethbridge area.

If you have returned to the country prior to March 12th, but were in a place where there was an outbreak of the virus, please make altruistic decisions about how you move in and around the community if you choose not to self-isolate.

We truly value all of our practitioners, and in the event that you have to self-isolate, please reach out to us, as we will suspend your membership in order to accommodate you while you cannot practice.

These choices are being made because we want to help maintain the public health and safety of Canadians, particularly the vulnerable populations of the city – those with pre-existing conditions who are more susceptible, in addition to our beloved elderly population. Furthermore, these measures are being taken to ensure the support and safety of our healthcare workers, who will be severely overworked during this public health emergency.

In addition to these measures, the studio is following a very strict disinfecting and cleaning regimen before, during, and after every class. We have also reduced the number of practitioners permitted in the hot room at one time. Please be diligent about washing your hands upon entry to the studio.
